How to Use

1. Insert the WINDERMATE into your drill’s chuck and tighten. If your drill has a torque adjustment ring, set it to a low number.

2. Slide the adapter over the winder’s crank handle, ensuring the WINDERMATE adapter is fully seated on the handle.

3. Set your drill to low speed (typically “1”) and begin winding slowly.

4. Increase speed only if your yarn is feeding smoothly and without tension issues.

Safety Cautions

• Use only on the drill’s low‑speed setting. High speeds may cause yarn jams or cause the Windermate to disengage from the winder. You could injure yourself from using excessive speed or torque.
• Plastic component—avoid excessive speed, torque, and exposure to heat or prolonged direct sunlight.
• Ensure your yarn winder is firmly clamped and stable before using the WINDERMATE drill adapter

We found that an 8 volt cordless drill did not have sufficient battery life to do more than one winding job. Therefore, we upgraded to this 20 volt cordless drill which comes with an extra battery.
